Children's Workshop: Spring Flower Arrangement (Montessori-inspired)

Materials:

• Fresh flowers 

• Leaves and foliage

• Child-safe vases

This method is used in Montessori education and it is an important part of the practical activities in everyday life.

What we do:

Introduction :
First we talk about the principles of colour and shape in flower arranging. Through examples, we’ll explore the different sizes and shapes of the flowers, foliage and vases we use.

Selection :
Children choose their vase, flowers, and foliage, thinking about complementary colours, flower and container lengths.

Arranging :
We will guide children to cut flowers and arrange them in the vase, focusing on balance and positioning.

Summary:
Children present their arrangements to one another.

✔ The price includes the basic materials (floral material, accessories packaging material/ bag, ribbon),soft beverages, snacks and a small gift from us. You can take your arrangement home with you at the end.

✔ We provide the tools, apron and gloves.

✔ Limited number: max. 8 children.

✔ Duration: approx. 1 and a half hour.

✔ Age: 6-12 years old.

✔Language: Hungarian, English. The workshops are held in English or Hungarian depending on the participants.

✔Gift cards, which can be purchased on our website, can be used towards all workshops.

✔Private floral workshops at your location of choice is also possible with prior arrangement

 Note: If you sign up for one of our workshops but cannot come, you can cancel 5 days before the event by email or phone. You can also transfer participation to someone else.

Namu reserves the right to cancel any workshop for any reason (usually low attendance- min 3 person). In case of full cancellation, all customers will be notified 24 hours before the workshop and have the option of: requesting a credit for a future session of equal or lesser value, or using the amount paid in our store, or receiving a full refund.
